Where are new swimmer tryouts and evaluations?

New Swimmer Tryout Dates for Summer 2010:

• Wednesday, September 1, 4:30PM at Seattle U
• Thursday, September 2, 6:30PM at Kent Meridian

• If you missed our summer tryout dates, email contact us and and arrange for a tryout/evaluation the latter part of August.

New Swimmer Tryout Dates for Fall 2010 & Winter/Spring 2011:

• Covington (Covington Aquatic Center) - By appointment, contact coaches
• Des Moines (Mount Ranier Pool) - By appointment, contact coaches
• Federal Way (King County Aquatic Center) - By appointment, contact coaches
• Fife (Fife Swim Center) - By appointment, contact coaches
• Kent (Kent Meridian Pool) - By appointment, contact coaches
• KING North (Mercer Island/Bellevue/Seattle) By appointment, contact coaches

What to wear?
Swimmers must come to the evaluation session ready to swim. This includes:

• Proper swim training attire. Baggy shorts or ’beach wear’ are not acceptable. Call or email if you are unsure what this means.
• Goggles and a swim cap if the child needs one.

What to expect?
Evaluations will determine if the child is ready for organized competitive swim training. They are comprehensive and can be physically stressful. All activities are age appropriate and simulate what athletes will experience.
